AJS Motorcycles (A.J Stevens Co. Ltd) was a popular brand in the first half of the 20th century, and from the start of the company in 1909, they were responsible for manufacturing a number of motorcycles, and held 117 world records for motorcycles. The firm was located in Wolverhampton, England and was eventually sold to Matchless, Associated Motorcycles in 1931. After that time, they manufactured a number of motorcycles, including various capacity roadsters and Scramblers. They were eventually resold in 1974 to Fluff Brown, who purchased the rights that allowed him to manufacture the Stormer and maintain the AJS name. Preservation Cycle provides restoration and repair of AJS motorcycles.
