Founded in 1898 in Birmingham, UK Norton Motorcycles was a popular option in the early 1900s. They began with single cylinder engine motorcycles and eventually added twin cylinder motorcycles to the production. They were also heavily involved in the racing movement, with their famous Manx Norton models becoming iconic. Norton began to pick up steam in the 1960’s and 1970’s with the introduction of their Commando model in 750cc and later 850cc displacements. Since that time, they have continued with a few different models, including the NRV588 Racer, and a new version of the Norton Commando. They continue to be a legendary name among motorcycle enthusiasts today. Preservation Cycle specializes in the repair and restoration of all models of the Norton motorcycle.
